How We Serve
Our volunteers are the heart of our team.
Here are a few of the ways we serve the community.
Sometimes the most valuable thing we can do for a person is to pray for them.
During the Food Pantry, we encourage our guests to write down their prayer requests. The requests are then given to a Prayer Warrior to pray over.
Since 2015 we've been delivering groceries to families who face food insecurity in our community.
In June of 2018, we started hosting a monthly, open-community Food Pantry.
We were blessed to be able to give out more than 10,000 meals in 2020.
(The picture shows our students getting ready to deliver Thanksgiving meals to homebound families.)
Life skill Classes
To break the cycle of poverty, education and consistency are vital.
We partner with other organizations, such as Cooking Matters, to offer life skill classes to families in the community.
We are hoping to offer Online Cooking Matters during the summer of 2021!
